Tim Cody’s musical career began in 1985 with the release of his first single ‘Circle Once Again’. The record was played widely on national radio in the UK and abroad, and although it failed to chart it has come to be regarded as something of a collectable minor classic: an antidote, in retrospect, to the all-pervading synthesizer-based pop of the time.
Ironically enough, although singer-songwriter, acoustic, 60’s-influenced pop did not fit with the musical climate of the 1980s, all these years later his sound has become ‘current’ again, hence the renewed interest in this work.
Cody still writes and records, and this site is intended as both an introduction to his music for those who are not acquainted with it, and a source of news, downloads, lyrics etc. for those who are.
Don’t wait out in the cold.
